The Manu Samoa dominated possesion if not territory but made too many handling errors to trouble the JABs. David Lemi scored a brilliant individual try late in the game by tackling Brett near the JAB tryline and then recovering the ball before dotting down.

While the JABs won comfortbably in the end this was not an easy game for them as the Manu played their hearts out. Only poor handling at the end prevented a closer scoreline. If not for two soft tries in the opening 7 minutes by the JABs, the game may have turned out very diferently. The Manu Samoa will take a lot out of this game and this should bode well for their next match against Australia A in Sydney. <more>
