Manu Samoa Position Vacancies
The successful applicants will be required to lead the Manu Samoa through its National and International programme starting January 2012.They will be required to develop and implement a 4 year plan culminating in the RWC in 2015 in England. The new management team will be responsible for the identification, recruitment and nurturing of potential Manu Samoa players worldwide and under SRU elite programme.
These positions require a proactive and a resourceful Coaching and Management team that can balance competing demands, prioritize work functions and produce high quality work with limited resources. The new coaching structure will need to select a squad and develop players into a cohesive, professional, discipline and a competitive team at the highest level.
These are 2 year term appointments with the opportunity of a further 2 year term extension subject to annual performance reviews.
Salary
The salary and other entitlements is negotiable dependant on the caliber of the applicant.
- Skills & Experience
Achieved IRB Level 3 Coaching Certificate as a minimum qualification. Super 15 or professional franchise experience would be an advantage. In the Manager role a diploma/certificate is the minimum or a higher attainment would be an advantage and have demonstrated intellectual capacity. - A proven and successful Coach or Manager of a Provincial Union, a Super 15 or Professional Franchise Club or a National Team. A successful managerial role in other organizations is welcome.
- Computer literate, strong leadership, excellent communication understanding and inspirational.
